Back in 2015, I separated from husband and knew that I could no longer afford the second car we had gotten. I really didn't want to give up my car, but there was no other option in my situation.

I called Credit Acceptance and they told me someone would call me before the pickup and no one did of course. They picked up my car the same day of me getting off the phone with the rep. I tried to get my things, but never got assistance from the towing company. I was sent a letter saying they would auction off the car and send me the bill for the remaining balance.

Now how crazy is it that you will have me pay for the entire car and I no longer have it. I will never do business with this company again.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada

Nothing new here. A repo does not make the contract vanish.

You are still on the hook for the entire contracted amount. It happens everyday with every lender.

So, let me understand this. Credit Acceptance gave you a loan.

Lets just say $10,000. Then you gave them back the car, lets say you paid $1,000 in payments and you still owe $9,000.

They sell it at auction for $2,000, leave you owing them $7,000. You are upset that you still owe them $7,000?

Oh go away troll. Maybe she doesn't fully understand how the auction thing works with vehicles. Don't be a *** for no reason.
