Harassment calls after payment has been made

We are still getting harassment calls even though the payment had been made days ago.

Recently, I made a payment to Credit Acceptance for our vehicle. Even though the payment has been made, we are getting phone calls from them several times a day.

Furthermore, I had made several payments ahead of time, so the account would not have been behind. I sent an email telling them to stop calling, but they continue to call us.

I've also recently learned that they are possibly a predatory loan company. I really hope they aren't trying to rip us off, both for this month and for the times when I made several payments ahead.

I am interested . Also, I am apart of one lawsuit with a law firm that actually contacted me first about a class action case their firm have been working on for about a year.

Even so, I will participate in any and all lawsuits against Credit Acceptance Corporation. I think it’s a great idea to collaborate and unite to gather evidence and to build a class action base on PissedConsumer(s). It is past time to shut Credit Acceptance down.

My Loss is greater than $30. My loss is $52K.

However, Credit Acceptance has an agent/ representative on here committing the act of slander, and disclosure of personal information only and agent would have access to.

Therefore, I am pursuing Credit Acceptance Corporation in Circuit Court for $300,000. If I am notified by at least 10 other customers, we will pursue a class action lawsuit against Credit Acceptance Corporation.

I had issues with this company from the beginning. The real problems arose when the company was bought out and neither company informed the consumers.

They sent out confusing documents and correspondence without first letting us know there was a buy out. In addition to that, I could not find anyone at either company who could tell me what was going on or why I was receiving the documents. The phone number provided was supposed to go to the new owners but kept getting re routed to the old company. The customer service was horrible as they didn't understand what the problem was and would not help resolve it.

After trading in my vehicle, the company posted that I was overdue on my payments and never reflected the pay off from the dealership. It's nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone.

I was only able to get this resolved and my credit report updated by going through this website. Pretty sad that two established finance companies are this incompetent.

The payoff was supposed to be sent to them by the car dealer. How do you know the car dealer actually did that in a timely matter???

I James moss Will make a $293 truck payment when new Debit Card arrives,some one tried stealing my identity using my Debit Card info in different locations throughout Florida during the Milford Hurricane!!,(so as you know being a finance company)The bank cut off the old Debit Card & they're sending me a new Debit Card & when it arrives you(Credit Acceptance)will be paid & all caught up,sorry for all the inconvenience,I will clear this matter up as soon as possible & thank you for your time & patience & God Bless.

Being upside down means you owe more than the car is worth. This happens due to factors ENTIRELY UNDER CONTROL of the buyer.

The factors are a high interest rate. You were PLACED with this sub-prime lender because YOUR credit reputation is bad. (Solution: Pay your bills on time.) You put too little down thus financing more and paying more interest. (Solution: Make a high down payment.) You financed for too long a term.

(Solution: If you need to have a long payback contract, you will pay more interest and that's an obvious sign you cannot afford the car.) You traded a car upon which you still owe money. (Solution: Pay off the trade-in first. When you owe on a trade-in, that owed amount doesn't just vanish. It is added to the new loan and you end up paying for two cars but driving one.) What can you do now?

Get a part time job on your weekends. Dedicate every paycheck to paying extra on the loan so that you don't need to pay all the interest.

If you make payments late, you generate more interest and late fees. (Solution: Pay on time.)

Reson cause my car was repo in November in 2023 when I got my car back it was water damage and it sit up mold in my car I had to pay to get the molds out I have not made a payment but I was going to make a payment tomorrow of 80 dollar but my direct deposit was messed up so I couldnt make the payments til tomorrow after 12 when my money is deposit so I think they came and got my car thinking Im going to do a law suit but Im not I just need transportation to get to work Im going summit my bill tomorrow they can do auto payment to receive my payment every month I had to pay for molds to get removed if not Ill be sick please allow me to make that payment and the other payment on the 29 with auto pay thank you I was upset to see the mold in my. Car for me to get sick Im fine with that but my kids no Im not I want to keep the car and continue on get the mold removed but I have to pay out of pocket Ill do that cause I dont want my boys to get sick Ill get sick but not My kids so I pay my neighbor to take my kids to school so they want inhale the scent of the mold r get sick so allow me to make that payment and pay for my mold to be removed out pocket and my car at the same time I have the 80 dollar to pay tomorrow after 12 please

How long did was the vehicle in the possession of the repo company for mold to grow in it? How did water get into your vehicle? I would suggest reaching out to the repossession contractor who would actually be the one responsible if they caused damage to your vehicle and let them know.

Credit Acceptance Pick-up of Surrendered Vehicle Following Filing of Chapter 7 Bankruptcy

On July 30, 2024, I called Credit Acceptance Customer Service and spoke with the bankruptcy representative to advise I was surrendering a 2015 Ford Focus, Serial Number 1FADP3E21FL353434 pursuant to filing Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Case No. 24-2**** on July 26, 2024.

I advised the bankruptcy representative that the car is located in the parking lot in front of Ace Hardware at 23 MacCorkle Ave., St Albans, WV.

The vehicle was overheating and leaking oil and I thought it best not to keep driving it.

The license plate and inspection sticker expired in July 2024 so the St.

Albans Police Department will likely have the vehicle towed. If Credit Acceptance has no interest in picking up the vehicle, I offer $1.00 to redeem the car from Credit Acceptance to release the title and lien at which time I will have the vehicle towed to a junk yard or other suitable disposal.

I look forward to a suitable response for resolution for this vehicle.

Auto loan

My name is Lynette Knecht, I financed a 2014 Ford fusion with your company, I put $6000.00 down and financed the remainder, I paid this vehicle off in full, I want to keep this vehicle and am looking for another vehicle, with low mileage and requested to finance it thru Credit Acceptance, I was turned down because I was late on a few payments, I always made arrangements and made those payments up the following month along with that current payment, it is only human to have struggles in life but I feel it shouldn't be used against you as long as you complete your promise, I'm requesting an Allodial Title to my 2014 Ford Fusion and would appreciate feedback as to whether I would qualify to finance another vehicle thru Credit Acceptance, with no down payment, I'm looking for a vehicle with low miles and low payments.and would appreciate feedback on these concerns, my new contact number is 712-895-****. "Sometimes we have struggles" Typical Serial Dead Beat noise.... You signed a contract at a joke like this (because you can't pay your bills on time) that said you MUST pay on time ALL of the time.

But all is not lost.

Pull the contract you signed and show them the "human struggle" clause, and you should be golden. If not, you're just another Serial Dead Beat with another hard luck story.

Prestige Motors fraudulently adjusted the price of a car they just sold me. I want my loan adjusted to the original sale price of the vehicle.

Keep report an INCORECT late payment on my report

Mailed a payment that arrived during the Christmas period in 12/20. The payment was received within 30 days, BUT they processed it in January 2021.

Therefore, CA posted a 30 days late on my report. I spoke with the rep at the time who confirmed that it wouldn't have any impact on my credit.

This was not the case. I'm bringing this to a higher level now!
